Wendy Steer concentrates on the Still Life genre where botanical motifs combine with domestic items such as textiles and ceramics. For several years now she has worked with this type of imagery, and enjoys sourcing and discovering what is in season botanically throughout the year, and then incorporating domestic items, which enhance the structural design and aesthetics of the painting.
