Feel Good Art Prize 2026
The primary objective of the Feel Good Art Prize is to benefit the wider community. For artists, it offers an opportunity to reflect upon and revisit a meaningful, uplifting moment, capturing and sharing it through their work. These artworks are created to convey positive emotion, fostering connection and uplifting those who encounter them.
Everyone holds the ability to find joy and transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. Art plays a vital role in society: it engages with contemporary issues, shapes perspectives, and influences action. It holds the power to change the world, even within the boundaries of a 20 x 20 cm artwork.
We invite artists to submit a small “feel-good” artwork measuring up to 20x20x20cm, as we believe it’s the small things that matter, contributing to the improvement of various aspects of our lives and, in turn, making our community an even healthier and happier place.
We are sincerely grateful for the $1,500 Prize generously sponsored by Quadrant Design Architects, and to Luke of Arten Abbotsford for the $250 Director’s Choice Award.
The 2026 Feel Good Art Prize judges include Corbett Lyon OA, leading Australian architect and co-founder of the Lyon Housemuseum, alongside guest judge Amita Kirpalani, Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the National Gallery of Victoria.
At the heart of Quadrant Gallery lies the fusion of architecture and art, elevating both spaces and lives. Art has the transformative capacity to subtly shift an environment, influence mood, and create lasting resonance. It is integral to human connection and the shared experience of emotion.
The true significance of art is in its ability to affect those who encounter it, to uplift, to inspire, and sometimes even to change a perspective. The 2026 Feel Good Art Prize was met with resounding success, and our commitment to delivering this meaningful initiative remains unwavering.
