Drawing on the sensibilities of Australian Tonalism, this work quietly notes the impermanence of all things through soft, blurred edges, muted tonal gradations, and subtle atmospheric shifts.

These visual effects are achieved kinetically in-camera, allowing the ephemeral qualities of light, form, and atmosphere to emerge with minimal intervention.

Materiality is central to the work. Printed on natural Kozo paper and hand-finished with beeswax and damar resin, with layers of fine art paper, the surfaces hold a gentle luminosity while honouring a nature-kind approach to preservation.
