Good Fortune

The day before we first met, he cracked open a fortune cookie that read, “A great beauty will fall on you from the sky”. This is a story about unexpected friendships that spring up in the most unlikely of ways. Sometimes, we find each other in the most vulnerable and broken of states- and despite our visible scars, we all still deserve a little pocket of joy to call our own.
