“I believe art has enriched our history and allows me to grow in the pursuit of my art. We all experience places in different ways and see different things, but perhaps through my art I have allowed to understand Melbourne from another perspective. My love of portraiture shines through interesting headstops of at St Patrick’s Cathedral. There are so many sandstone Headstop faces over its doorways and windows. The one I really loved reminds me of the face of the Virgin Mary. Another one is of a saint—St Thomas More do you think?”
